I bring my petition through our Lady in Heaven that she may intercede for me to her son and all other faithful. I am having challenges parenting my two teenagers and i am feeling overwhelmed especially because their father is not there to support me. We seem to be having various misunderstanding with my son who is even opting to drop out of school. I am also upset since i feel my son is too selfish and not considerate of the current circumstance we are in. I love him very much but i cannot reach out to him. he has blocked me out completely and i do not seem to know him anymore. Mary my mother, you too were a parent to our Lord Jesus and especially during the teenage years. How did you manage? How did you overcome the various challenges? How did you remain connected? Mary my mother, only you can give me counsel, only your footsteps are safe to follow. My mother, pray too for me that God may give me wisdom and insight, patience and kindness to walk with the kids amidst the pain and agony it causes. I know a lot more awaits me but my prayer is truly that God may remain closer to my children and that they too remain faithful to him. May there be peace amongst us, understanding as we sort out the differences we are having. May there be a lasting solution to this issue and many more that we may encounter. Lord my Jesus, without you i cannot manage. You are the father to fatherless and the husband to those that do not have. I beseech you Loving savior to only say a word and; there will be understanding between me and the children; our love will be strengthened; our wounds will be healed; our hope renewed; and our faith deepened.
