In This Season of Advent

Express the presence of God

Catholic Medical Mission Board

“The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for Me.’”

- Matthew 25:40

Dear Friend,

Our Catholic faith has at its heart the idea of service to God through service to one another.

As the story of the Sheep and the Goats in the Gospel of Matthew reminds us, what we do for the “least of our brothers and sisters” is done also for God. Who today is the least among our brothers and sisters if not a child born in poverty, without access to nutritious food and basic health care?

At the Catholic Medical Mission Board, we are dedicated to helping women and children in need. Our work is only possible because of the kindness and devotion to service shown by people like you.

Pope Francis has said that  “the thing the church needs most today is the ability to heal wounds and to warm the hearts of the faithful…I see the church as a field hospital.”

The generosity of donors like you has enabled CMMB to be one example of this "field hospital" as it reaches out a healing hand around the globe.

The exceptional generosity of one of our donors means that any gift made to CMMB before December 31 will be matched dollar-for-dollar, so you have the opportunity to do twice the good. Give with confidence: CMMB has been rated four stars by Charity Navigator for four years in a row.

Your donations support our programs delivering medical supplies and skilled health care to parts of the world that might otherwise be forgotten. Give now to have your donation matched, and make the most of your gift.

In this season of Advent, as we prepare ourselves to accept the spirit of the Lord, shall we not express the presence of God by reaching out to help others?

Thank you and God bless you.
