A Christmas Message from Fr. Dan

A Christmas Message from Fr. Dan

St. Francis of Assisi has always had a strong connection to Christmas. Interestingly, during Francis' lifetime, the image of the infant Jesus was not as common as it is today. Yet Francis brought such clarity to the notion of Christ's incarnation into human form that, according to Thomas of Celano, one of his biographers, "When he preached, many saw a vision of a child come to life in Francis' arms."  "For (Francis), Christmas was the feast of feasts."

In the spirit of St. Francis, we at Franciscan Media work daily to spread the Good News that is Jesus Christ, helping Christians grow closer to God. We publish St. Anthony Messenger, books and online digital resources of all kinds. All these efforts are a partnership with you, our loyal benefactors.

Will you help us to spread the Good News? Would you consider donating $50, $75, $100 or more so that we may continue to evangelize in the spirit of St. Francis? Your tax-deductible contribution in any amount touches thousands with the Good News every day
