Powerful Examples

By Sharon Lape, Sep 8, 2016 6:00:00 AM

In the search for meaning in dramatic and breathtaking "Grand Canyons"—those big ideas or important people with reputations—we can overlook powerful examples that, in contrast, are quiet, small, and even mundane. When you can't find what you think you are looking for, you may be looking for the wrong things.

-from Henri Nouwen: His Life and Spirit

Proverbs 17:27-28

27 The one who has knowledge uses words with restraint,
and whoever has understanding is even-tempered.
28 Even fools are thought wise if they keep silent,
and discerning if they hold their tongues.
