Join Thousands to Pray for the Sick

Join Thousands to Pray for the Sick

There is still time to join the Catholic Health Association's 100 Days of Prayer campaign leading up to World Day of the Sick on Feb. 11. Please take a moment to sign up to join with thousands of people across the United States and beyond who are offering prayers for healing for persons who are sick and injured and those who care for them.

World Day of the Sick is an annual observance created by Pope John Paul II that coincides with the feast of Our Lady of Lourdes. At 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2015, World Day of the Sick, everyone who has joined the 100 Days of Prayer campaign will stop for one powerful minute of collective prayer for healing.

Everyone is welcome to participate in this prayer campaign, so please share this opportunity with your friends, families, fellow parishioners and community groups using resources on our website.

CHA is the membership organization of more than 600 hospitals and 1,400 long-term care and other health facilities in all 50 states. At the national level, these organizations join together in CHA to raise a collective passionate voice for compassionate care. In 2015, CHA celebrates the 100th anniversary of its founding. 100 Days of Prayer is the inaugural activity of CHA's centennial year.
