A Lenten Message from Father Dan   "Most high glorious God, enlighten the darkness of my heart and give me, Lord, a correct faith, a certain  hope, a perfect charity, sense and knowledge, so that I may carry out Your holy and true command." --St. Francis of Assisi, The Prayer Before the Crucifix at San Damiano     This simple prayer from St. Francis strikes me as so appropriate for Lent. At this time of year we're called in a special way to deepen our awareness of Christ's suffering, death and resurrection.
