Urgent need for Thanksgiving

1 week left until our biggest feast of the year... Dear Friend, Thanksgiving is one week away... and Trevor, our Head Chef at The Bowery Mission, asked me to pass along an urgent request to all our friends: "PLEASE help us keep our kitchen fully stocked for Thanksgiving." Our entire kitchen staff is working around the clock... because we expect to serve 8,000 needy men, women and children a traditional Thanksgiving meal, complete with turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, pumpkin pie — and hope! It's the biggest Thanksgiving feast we've EVER prepared! But it's critical that our kitchen remains fully stocked this week. We simply can't turn hungry people away. Help Trevor and his staff keep good food coming. A meal served with love at The Bowery Mission is often the first step toward a new life. Please give from your heart today. Thanks for helping!
