Tomorrow, Ash Wednesday, begins the season of Lent. In a new book Change Our Hearts: Daily Meditations for Lent, author Rory Cooney calls the lectionary readings for Lent a "crash course in Christianity, a road map for the journey to Easter." The readings summon those studying to become Catholic to enter Christian life by rejecting sin and living the Gospel. To deepen your own personal Lenten experience, we offer several books.
