Patti Friday, February 7, 2014 I pray that my son, Christopher, would get help for his alcoholism. I know that I am powerless over alcohol, it only I would let gol. He is so scared that people will find out his background, and that he has a breathalizer on his car. I pray that he would be honest, but that comes with admitting outloud that he has a problem. He isolates himself, has lost his job of 10 years in the last week, and tend to stay to himself. This is such a powerful secret.. I pray that he would meet that person that would actually help him. He is struggling, and it so hard to watch. I know that God must handle this, butfor me giving everything, my worries, over to God is scary and I am scared of the background. He is a prisoner of himself, which if he admitted and got help, the answers might be there. He hasn't had a relationship for 2 years, and I pray that he would let go of the shame and realize that he could have so much more. I pray to God for help and the wisdom that comes with it. A Friday, February 7, 2014 St Joseph I pray to you to help me find employment or suitable consistent work. At the age I am now I feel under pressure to be in work but I also need and want suitable work. It has been one obstacle after the other and I am afraid of being stuck in this position long term. I no longer feel able to cope with this continual stress of uncertainty over work. I have plans and hopes for my future but without a decent regular income its all just a dream that I can try to fulfil these.
