I have started rehab and am attending therapy. Through this process I have learned most of my pain and addiction are due to being abandoned by my parents at a young age and being abused by a trusted family member as a child. My addiction has led me into trouble with the law. Recently through recovery I have reconnected with my family and turned back to the church. I pray that I have the strength to overcome my vices and live a faith based and fulfilling life.
