Ginny Wednesday, January 15, 2014 Please pray for us for protection. I sold a tree out of necessity & the man who cut it could not bring it down. There are 30 mph winds tonite & I would appreciate prayers for anyone who passes by our home so that the tree does NOT fall into the road or on our house!!! It was chopped but it wont fall! Amen Derek Wednesday, January 15, 2014 Heavenly Father, I come to you in immense fear, overwhelming failure, and a seemingly broken spirit. As of now, my family and I are 26 hours away from complete eviction. Unfortunately, there is nowhere for me to take my wife and 1 year old son. And stubbornly, I refuse to take them to a shelter. There is no help for us there and our physical ailments simply would not allow the transition. I was wrongfully terminated from my job a few months ago for an injury (broken back) I suffered in a car accident. My wife herself with back/neck issues has become the sole source of income as I stay at home with our son and work on recovering. The timing of this recent series of unfortunate events is brutal. One thing after another. Our friends have all deserted us, our families look down their nose and judge us. We are truly alone in this. I feel an utter failure as a provider, husband, and father.
