Surrender is Difficult
Surrender equals defeat, failure, and unhappiness if we don't get our own way. We naturally feel we should have it all, should be on top, should do better. This struggle in our hearts between having our way and letting God have his way challenges us daily. Most often, we don't even realize there is a battle in our hearts to surrender our wills to Christ.
