Hello Wisdom,

When Jesus's disciples asked him to teach them to pray, he taught them the great prayer to the Father, which we know as The Lord's Prayer. One line in this prayer speaks to us during Lent, especially in this Year of Mercy: "Forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us." Just  as we receive overflowing mercy and forgiveness from God, we are called to offer that same forgiveness to those who have hurt us. As our Lenten journey continues, let us pray for the grace to respond to God with a humble heart.
